'The Gift" is a contemporary acrylic painting on a wood cradled board with thick edges. The semi-abstract style, the metallic paints, the gloss gels and texture make it perfect for a modern decor. I painted it for my daughter's modern condo but before I got it finished she moved into a turn-of-the century home and totally changed her decor...I decided to paint her a "less modern" artwork. "The Gift" (which did not become a gift) is wired and ready to hang and enjoy.

"Windmills of My Mind" is in a soothing, neutral palette, but it is full of vitality and movement: life under a thin layer of ice, lightly veiled emotions, intertwined feelings....You will find aspects of your personality and your life in this painting.

It is varnished, wired, with edges painted in white....

At first, my work may seem rather eclectic since I create in so many different mediums: acrylic, watercolor, oil, metal...However, I now recognize that there is a unifying thread in all this diversity: the same painting gestures, the frequent use of negative painting techniques, the love of intertwined shapes ... these are all part of my signature!
