This serene and elegant iris is painted on a 5" x7"x1/8" ampersand panel. I will most likely frame this painting within the next week, but am offering it unframed with the  black mini easel for a lower price until I have time to shop for a frame.

The painting has many layers of watercolor, acrylic, glossy acrylic finish as well as gold metallic texture. The effect is almost that of the ancient technique of cloisonne. It is part of my collection "Nature's Little Gems".
