The painting is available, but not for shipping on its frame since the cost would be extremely high and would include the cost of constructing a custom crate. It will have to be rolled in a tube. The purchaser will then have to have the painting restretched by a framer.
Modern and young in spirit, "Waiting for Cinderella" is the second of the series of Fairy Tale Gowns. The first was a commission and is in a private collection in Montreal.
The fantasy gown seems to be created of soft chiffon ribbons that intertwine over and over again in almost impossible ways on each side of the dress. Texture in the bodice and on the left side of the painting includes glass beads. At 48" x 36", this painting will be the focus of any room....
Because of it size, the canvas may have to be removed from its frame and the painting sent rolled in a tube. Ideally, this painting would be sold locally.
