This is my latest, and my largest, of recent oil paintings of sunflowers. I think I achieved what I was after in this painting - paint several sunflowers of various dimensions to create a feeling of warmth. serenity and summer abundance.
The painting took me over a month to paint with daily painting sessions. I kept adding more and more details:-)
It adds a wonderful happy feeling to any room.
It was painted with professional quality paints on a well-prepared canvas. The painting has deep edges that I painted white to match the flower pot and keep the light atmosphere. It is ready to hang and enjoy.
