I love peonies! I enjoy the slow process of painting their portrait in oil. This way,
i feel that I can extend on canvas their very brief life. I never tire of seeing a peony on my wall. It makes me smile and brings me a feeling of awe in front of nature’s beauty and a feeling of calm and serenity. I hope one of my oil peonies can do the same for you.
This painting has been created with professional quality materials. It is varnished, has its deep gallery edges painted black. It is wired and ready to hang and enjoy for years and years.
