Here is another miniature for Leslie Saeta's 30 Paintings in 30 Days.  It is my entry for Day 8. This painting is on an 1/8"Aquabord by Ampersand.  I love how vibrant the colors remain on this surface and the fact that the resulting painting does not need any glass. I love to display these small panels on a mini easel, but they can also be inserted in a regular frame.

In this miniature, the rose petals are outlined in gold leaf and the painting has a glossy, almost glass-like finish. It makes a perfect small gift for all occasions. On a small easel ( available starting at $ 1 approx. at Walmart or Michaels), it can sit on a shelf, near your computer.
