This miniature is on 1/8" ampersand archival  aquabord panel from Texas. It is part of my Naure's Gems series of miniatures. It has several layers of watercolor , acrylic and faux gold leaf. Its surface has a glossy, glass-like finish. You can display it on a mini easel as pictured -it can sit on a shelf , on a table, on a window sill...no wall space required. Of course, you can always frame it.  A great gift idea!
